Dr. Donohoe holds a Masters Degree in Sport & Exercise Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.

He has worked with professional athletes through his role as Munster Rugby Team Doctor since 2009.

He has a particular interest in soft tissue injuries and has extensive experience in joint injections for appropriate conditions only such as osteoarthritis.

He enjoys a close working relationship with sports radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists.
